AlPS Insurance Co. the Insurance Co. recomended to lawyers in the State of Virginia - Insurance Co. to Ilona Ely Freedman Grenadier Heckman and her law firm.

Now keep in mind when you try and file a claim they will not admit upfront if they have that lawyer as a client - In Virginia rated 47th and 49th in corruption with a corrupt VSB & JIRC they know they can get away with almost anything - As no one will hold them responsible for their actions!

Report a Claim

In addition to all other terms and conditions of coverage, a claims made and reported policy requires two things to fall within the scope of the policy: First, there must be a policy in effect at the time the error or loss occurred. Second, there must be a policy in effect when the claim is first made against you and first reported to the insurer. Both preconditions must occur before coverage exists under the policy.
Policyholders are required to provide written notice when they reasonably become aware of an incident or circumstance that could give rise to a claim. Experience has proven early reporting can mitigate damages. If you have questions or concerns, please contact one of our claims professionals at (800) 367-2577.
Notice of a claim may be written in hard copy and delivered to ALPS by regular mail or facsimile or submitted via email at claims@alpsnet.com. Mailed or faxed claims notifications should be sent to address/fax number below:
ALPS Claims Department
111 N. Higgins Ave., Suite 200
Missoula, MT 59807-9169
Fax: (406) 728-7416

If you do notify us of a claim via email, please follow these simple steps:

1. On the subject line of the email enter the Named Insured and the Potential Claimant.
2. In the body of the email, please give us:
  • The Named Insured for the policy
  • The name of the party who is or may assert a claim
  • A discussion of the facts and circumstances which are at issue and which might be necessary for someone having no prior knowledge of the situation to put everything into context.
3. When you hit send, you should receive an automatic bounce-back message confirming your notice was received.
4. Print a copy of this auto-generated response as verification of your notice.
If you do not receive the auto-generated response, your notice did not go through and you will need to follow up by submitting a written and mailed notice.
Also, please remember that timely notice is the key to a claims made and reported professional liability policy like the ALPS policy.
Please feel free to contact our Claims Department at (800) 367-2577 if you have any questions about this process.
